I am a licensed psychologist in New York and received my Ph.D. in counseling psychology from Teachers College at Columbia University. My office is located in Brooklyn Heights—a quick subway ride from lower Manhattan.

Before and since my professional education, I have helped individuals, couples, and families learn how to better communicate and achieve better self-awareness and self-discipline. I have trained and worked in various for-profit, non-profit, and educational institutions and hospitals in New York City. Among those experiences, I provided leadership development and career guidance within k-12 and college level schools. I have also provided counsel to individuals and teams within educational, medical, social service, and public agency settings.

My clinical experiences have involved providing psychotherapy for routine and severe mental health problems, psychological testing, crisis intervention, and vocational psychological services.

Prior to becoming a psychologist, I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, serving in the Parks, Wildlife, and Environmental Education sector.
